About these terms
These terms govern your use of the iOS application Text To Speech App. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms and any policies referenced in the app. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms; your continued use after an update means you accept the changes.
Processing and storage of content
We process text prompts, reference voice recordings or files, and generated audio to deliver results; we do not store these items on our servers. They remain on your device unless you export or share them. Content needed to create a result is transmitted to an AI service provider to perform the requested generation under that provider's terms and privacy notices.
Use requirements and eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or the age of majority in your location to use the app. Individuals under that age may use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian under that person's account. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit and that your use complies with applicable law.
Acceptable use and prohibited behavior
Use the app lawfully and responsibly. You must not use the app or its outputs to harass, defame, impersonate, deceive, defraud, stalk, threaten, or exploit others; to incite violence or self harm; to interfere with elections or civic processes; to violate privacy or engage in illegal surveillance; to create, distribute, or assist non consensual, misleading, or deceptive voice content or deepfakes; to infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, publicity or privacy rights; to generate hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content; to create content involving minors; to send spam or conduct phishing; to introduce malware or attempt to bypass security; to scrape, extract, or attempt to derive source code, models, or training data; or for any other unlawful or harmful activity. We may restrict access if we believe the app is being misused; to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim responsibility for misuse by users.
License and restrictions
Subject to these terms, you are granted a limited, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control for personal, lawful use. You must not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, copy except for device backup, modify, translate, adapt, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app except where such restrictions are prohibited by law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
User content and permissions
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us and our service providers a limited permission to receive, process, and transmit your content solely to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and provide the features you request. We do not use your prompts, reference voice, or generated audio to build marketing profiles, and we do not store these items on our servers.
Third party services and AI providers
The app relies on third party services, including AI providers, analytics, error reporting, and Apple services. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third party services and disclaim liability for their acts or omissions to the extent permitted by law.
AI usage and token limits
The app uses artificial intelligence technology to generate audio content. Tokens are required to generate audio and are consumed when you create content. Tokens may be obtained through subscriptions or one-time in-app purchases. Subscription tokens: If you have an active subscription, you receive a monthly allocation of tokens that are distributed daily throughout your billing period. You will receive a portion of your monthly token allocation each day, and unused daily tokens do not carry over to subsequent days. Purchased tokens: Tokens purchased through one-time in-app purchases require an active premium subscription to use; without an active subscription, purchased tokens may not be available for use until you subscribe. Purchased tokens are added to your account balance and remain available until used, subject to these terms. We reserve the right to revoke, suspend, or forfeit any tokens, including purchased tokens, without refund or compensation if we believe you have violated these terms, engaged in misuse, fraud, or abuse, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Currently, there may be daily limits on the amount of content you can generate, regardless of your remaining token balance. We are actively working to increase token availability and remove daily limits, but cannot guarantee when such improvements will be implemented or what form they will take. Token limits, daily allocations, availability, pricing, and terms are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or adjust token allocations, limits, expiration policies, or consumption rates to ensure service stability, prevent abuse, manage costs, or comply with third party provider constraints. Tokens have no cash value, are non-refundable except as required by law, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged. We are not liable for any inability to generate content due to token limits, daily restrictions, service unavailability, changes to the token system, token revocation, or token expiration.
Subscriptions, purchases, and refunds
Purchases and subscriptions are offered through Apple App Store in-app purchase. Apple processes payment and provides us with transaction metadata needed to deliver your purchase and prevent abuse; we do not receive or store your full payment card details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies where applicable. Charges continue until canceled; taxes may apply. The app offers the following auto-renewable subscriptions: Monthly Plan at $19.99 per month, and 3-Day Trial which converts to $6.99 per week after the trial period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your iOS device settings under Subscriptions. The app also offers one-time in-app purchases for tokens, including 100 tokens for $9.99. One-time token purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. Tokens purchased through one-time purchases are delivered immediately upon successful payment processing. If a purchase fails or is refunded, any tokens associated with that purchase may be revoked. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We reserve the right to modify pricing, availability, or terms of any purchase or subscription at any time, but such changes will not affect purchases already completed.
Safety and responsible use
Generated audio can affect others. Obtain all required permissions and consent; do not impersonate real people; do not mislead others about the artificial nature or origin of audio; comply with recording, telephony, platform, and disclosure rules that apply in your location. You are solely responsible for how you create, share, and use outputs.
No warranties
The app and all outputs are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, accuracy, and reliability. We do not promise that the app or outputs will meet your needs, be uninterrupted, secure, or error free. We do not guarantee that the app will function correctly, produce satisfactory results, or operate without bugs, errors, or outages. AI generated outputs may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or fail to meet your expectations. You use the app and its outputs at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages; or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data; or for business interruption. We are not liable for any failure of the app to operate, produce output, or function as expected; for bugs, errors, service outages, or unavailability; or for loss of data, tokens, or access. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the app or services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or ten US dollars. Some laws do not allow certain limitations; in those cases the limits apply to the maximum permitted.
Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our service providers from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to your content, your use of the app or outputs, or your violation of these terms or law, including alleged infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
Termination and suspension
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at any time with or without notice, including where we believe the app is being misused or where required to comply with law. Upon termination or suspension, your right to use the app ends, and any unused tokens in your account may be forfeited or revoked without refund or compensation. We may revoke tokens at any time for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
Changes to the service and updates
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may provide updates, upgrades, or changes that may alter or remove functionality. You consent to receive and install updates; older versions may stop working.
Governing law and dispute resolution
To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the app will be resolved through binding individual arbitration; class or representative actions are not permitted. Either party may seek temporary injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect rights pending arbitration, including for misuse or intellectual property matters. If arbitration is not permitted by law in your location, disputes will be resolved in the courts that have jurisdiction over your place of residence. Any claim must be brought within one year after it accrues unless a longer period is required by law.
Severability, waiver, and assignment
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect with the unenforceable part modified to the minimum extent necessary. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
